This morning I dreamt that I was falling in love with something new. I was beginning to make my move when my old “partner” was trying hard to hold on to me. Not willing to let me go. I was trying my best to get rid of the old so I can be free.
What is the “new” that God has been stirring in your heart to go for? Don’t let the old ways, the old mindset hold on to you, trying to stop you from forming a new partnership. Be bold! Take a step and see what changes God is wanting to bring to you.
I am asking these questions :
* What is the new thing that God is wanting me to partner with?
* What are some of the old ways I need to shake off in order to step into the new?
* What are some of the fears I need to ask God to set me free from?
Isaiah 43:19
“See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.”
We can walk out of our wilderness and follow the streams that the Lord is creating for us. I hear the Holy Spirit saying to us today: “Be bold! Take a step towards my direction. Follow my stream. I am doing a new thing in your life. Fresh and new”.
I can sense the smile on His face as He is saying this 😄
Prayer :
Holy Spirit, our Creative God, show us what new things you have for us. Grace us to follow you. We want this fresh stream of new innovations, outside the box mentality, a brave heart like the Lion of Judah to go for Your best! We are willing to let go of the old – whatever they might be. We cut off anything old that will try to stop us from going for the NEW that you want to bless us with.
Let today be the start of the NEW in us Lord Jesus!
