Hello everyone, how has your year been so far? We are approaching November soon and I feel impressed by the Lord to say this: “Keep Roaring!” Don’t give up. You are very close to breakthrough. Elijah perceived the breakthrough as he placed his face in between his knees in intercession. He was led by God to birth the coming of the rain. Prophet Elijah did not give up until his servant saw the rain cloud in the size of a man’s fist. (1 Kings 18:41 – 45)
There are times when we need to continue to pray, worship, give thanks or however, He wants us to continue to “roar” like the Lion of Judah roars through us. He urges us to partner with Him. To be that active participant in the breakthrough He longs to bring for us. I can almost hear Jesus saying “Come on Church, just a little longer. Keep roaring with me.”
Like a mother who is giving birth to her child, pushing for the baby to come through the birth canal, is not easy (to put it mildly). She knows that no matter how painful it might feel, she cannot give up. She has to finish what she started so that the baby can have life outside of her. The time is here. The baby cannot wait anymore, but he or she needs the mother to push with all her might.
I had a dream last week about a dear family that I have been praying for to return to the Lord. He left our home with another older friend, who is known for promiscuity. After they left, my husband and I began to hear demonic noises outside our home. They are like muttering, making errie nosies but we were not afraid. My spirit began to stir up a roar that came out of my mouth. Initially, my roaring was soft and weak. But I kept roaring and roaring. As I continued to roar, it got louder and stronger. It eventually sounded like a lion roaring out of my mouth. The demonic sounds stop. The dear family member who left our home returned and it was like our door was never locked. All he needed to do was to turn the outside door knob and he was able to get into our home. He began to tell us how bad it was outside.
I believe that the Holy Spirit is telling us that “the answer to your intercession is very near”. Don’t listen to the demonic voices that are trying to distract us. “Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Pet 5:8-9). The devil is wanting us to turn away from trusting in God and accept his accusation against our God that He will not help us. It is useless to stand our ground. But friends, let me tell you this – there is a greater roar. The Lion of Judah is roaring against the devil’s devices.
Isaiah 42:13: “The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.” (KJB)
Children of God, we need to let Jesus arise within us and roar like a mighty man. He is jealous of us. We are prevailing against the enemy’s assignments against us, our family, and nation. The prodigals are returning to Father God. Are you praying for your son or daughter or someone you know who have left the safety of the “spiritual home”? Continue to roar out your intercession. Quit listening to the noises the enemy is making to distract you from praying. Breakthrough is here! The heart of God and the house of the Lord is never shut off to the prodigal sons and daughters. They are returning because of our intercession in Christ. God is opening their eyes to see and awakening them to the “words of life”.
Keep roaring! When the Lion of Judah roars, it will paralyze the devil and his demons.
Did you know that “roar” also means to medidate?
The word hâgâh (pronounced haw-gaw’, numberH1897 in Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance) occurs 24 times in the King James Version of the Bible and is translated six of these times as “meditate.” However, in Isaiah 31:4, the King James Bible translates this word as “roaring”.
For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey…
So part of meditating on and appropriating the promises of Scripture in our lives involves roaring. What are the prophetic words, scriptures, dreams or visions that God has given to you regarding the things you are believing for breakthrough? Get back into meditating on them.
God will always be proven to be true and faithful to his words (Romans 3:3-4). I am daily declaring my trust in Him and His promises. Trust in my God is a lesson I continue to learn and grow in. I am declaring His words and putting my faith in what He says He is doing, even when I am not seeing it.
Join me, my friends in allowing Jesus to roar out of us. Is there a prophetic act that He is leading you to do? Blow the shofar, do that dance, sing that song or travail in prayer? Keep going and see the salvation of the Lord.
Joel 3:16: “The Lord will roar from Zion . . . heaven and earth will tremble.”
